We install an IP-KVM on your critical machines. You (and we) get remote keyboard/video/mouse access from anywhere — down to BIOS-level, before the OS boots. Kills the truck-roll tax on 80% of server problems.

$850
avg cost of one after-hours truck roll to reboot a stuck server (diagnostic + first hour + premium + your downtime).
10 min vs 4 hrs
typical remote fix time via KVM compared to on-site service (drive + diagnose + fix + drive back).
~80%
of after-hours IT calls are console-level fixable — stuck boot, blue screen, forgotten password, frozen UI, BIOS setting.
Step 1
One appointment. Two hours on-site for the Starter tier. We bring everything — you don’t buy parts separately.
Step 2
USB + HDMI/VGA on the server side. Ethernet on the network side. We handle cabling, network config, firewall rule, and any router changes needed.
Step 3
Web browser or app. See your server’s screen. Type on it. Move the mouse. Reboot it. Get into BIOS. All from your phone, laptop, wherever.
Step 4
Next time it locks up, we log in from Cleveland and fix it while you keep working. No panic call. No Sunday truck roll. No $850 emergency invoice.

Most SMB server rooms should start here.

Hardware cost + 20% + $499 install per device
4 hours on-site · access audit trail · optional VPN + hardware 2FA
Optional monthly on any tier
We watch the KVM itself 24/7, keep the firmware patched, and don’t charge per remote fix — unlimited console access whenever you need us.
Rolls into your Managed IT bill if you have one. Standalone otherwise.
My server already has Dell iDRAC / HP iLO. Do I still need this?
Probably not. If your iDRAC or iLO Enterprise license is working, you already have this — save the money. We’ll tell you honestly on the phone. Where this shines: workstations, POS terminals, older servers, home-office desktops, or Dell/HP boxes where the remote license was never bought.
Is remote access secure?
Yes when configured right — and configuring it right is our job. Options include: unique strong password + 2FA, VPN-only access, or a dedicated management VLAN. We recommend the setup that matches your risk level and don’t upsell you into overkill.
What if the KVM itself breaks?
Hardware failure in the first year, we replace it — free unit, free install labor. After year one, hardware is at cost + install labor. If you have the $29/mo monitoring add-on, we usually know it’s failing before you do.
Does it work with my old server or non-Windows box?
Yes — the KVM sees whatever the monitor sees. Windows, Linux, macOS, ESXi, ancient DOS-era boxes, anything with a USB + HDMI/VGA output. We’ve KVM’d equipment from 2005 to yesterday.
Who is this NOT for?
Businesses whose only computers are laptops that leave the building — a KVM doesn’t help there, but our Managed IT remote-agent monitoring ($79/seat/mo) does. Businesses with zero servers and one PC that never breaks — save your money.
We look at your setup and tell you if a KVM is the right fit — or if iDRAC / a managed remote agent / just leaving it alone is smarter for your situation. No pressure, no pitch.
